Dejlah group of oriental music had been established in 2008 under the supervision of the Iraqi national music committee to perform the Iraqi traditional and inherited music forms after they felt the need to form a local musical team able to give the status of Iraq's multi-ethnic music among the peoples music. The group looks forward to show the Iraqi vocal and instrumental music by holding concerts through the cultural festivals, and also makes sound records in order to revive and document the original music in Iraq
